The New Republic of Texas (NRT) is the counterpart to the Historical Republic of Texas in our 2-pronged strategy to resurrect the RT with unquestionable legitimacy. The NRT, like the Texas Constitution 2000 project, uses the individual's right to set up a new government from scratch. Here is our Declaration of Independence and Friendship. Naturally, we won't be promoting a violent secession or confrontation; in fact, we plan to make special provisions for dealing with the current situation of being an occupied country, and we plan to negotiate a treaty to help us regain as many of our rights as possible until enough people join the RT to make it infeasible and pointless for the occupation to continue.
At present, we're working on our constitution. More precisely, we're writing the common core that must be included in the constitutions of all member nations of the Association of Free Countries. Much of this is based on the Bill of Rights in the USA Constitution but better written to avoid misinterpretation. For now, the constitution of the NRT could be considered to be just the Non-Aggression Principle (NAP).
Recently the HRT amended their Constitution to remove the slavery, racism, and sexism, and support NAP as the highest law in the land. Accordingly, the NRT and HRT have merged, completing the formation of the URT.
